Rosie O’Donnell Latest Run on ABC’s ‘The View’ Sparks Back-Stage Drama

Rosie O’Donnell’s short return run on ABC’s “The View,” produced more back stage drama than she did on the show, and that’s saying a lot. A producer reportedly was fired after a shouting match with O’Donnell that she appeared, in part, to have instigated. Jennifer Shepard-Brookman, who has worked as a producer on the show for eight years, was initially suspended weeks ago then fired last week. Shepard-Brookman was reportedly “profoundly and publicly disrespectful” to O’Donnell during a staff meeting in February....

Belle Knox, the Duke University freshman who now leads a not so secret life as a porn star, has been outed by a British tabloid, which revealed her real name and asserted in a lengthy article that she has a troubled past. Knox, 18, has been in the eye of a media storm ever since she was interviewed about her day-job in a college newspaper. A classmate revealed that she’s a first-year Duke student, and all hell broke loose. But she was able to maintain some sense of privacy by only using her stage-name… until now....

Whitney Houston died from her addiction to prescription drugs, which are easily obtained from Beverly Hills doctors who crave celebrity patients, according to Dr. Drew Pinsky, an addiction specialist and television show host. Pinsky, who hosts reality shows, “Celebrity Rehab” and “Dr. Drew,” slammed doctors who over-prescribe painkillers and other narcotics to celebrities. Celebrities are more likely to die from prescriptions than illegal drugs, today, he said....
