Mickey Rooney, who brightened hearts with his incredible pluck and acting talent as a child star in a number of Depression-era films and later went on to become one of Hollywood’s most venerable actors, died Sunday (Apr. 6) of natural causes. He was 93. Rooney was still working up until a month ago when he filmed scenes for a role in Ben Stiller’s “Night at the Museum 3.” He was at home when he died, according to his daughter-in-law Charlene Rooney....
