James Corden is hilarious in a skit portraying Pennywise, the scary clown from the hit horror flick “It.” The movie is based on the Stephen King novel, but Corden takes the character to a whole new level as a company IT guy. Who knew information technology could be so funny? Tim Curry portrayed the clown in a 1990 television adaptation and by Bill Skarsgård reprises him in the 2017 film adaptation....

The Sesame Street Workshop, producer of the kinder, gentler puppet show for kids, is also capable of wicked satire. It’s released a video that’s rapidly going viral, lampooning the Oscar-nominated movie “Birdman.” It stars… who else? Big Bird. The gentle giant is joined in the video by Caroll Spinney, who has voiced Big Bird on television for almost 50 years. The clip is a take-off of a scene widely featured from “Birdman,” in which star Michael Keaton has an existential conversation with his alter-ego superhero character....

A new trailer for the picture, released today (Apr. 2), shows she might have been on track before her tragic death in December 2009. Murphy, 32, was found dead in the bathroom of her Los Angeles home, the victim of apparent cardiac arrest. She’d shot “Something Wicked” with Shantel VanSanten, Julian Morris, John Robinson and James Patrick Stuart between April and June, roughly six months before she died....
