Bruce Springsteen does a hilarious parody of himself on Jimmy Fallon to rip Gov. Chris Christie.

Bruce Springsteen, New Jersey’s native son, joined Jimmy Fallon last night for a side-splitting riff on NJ Gov. Chris Christie’s mushrooming scandal involving illegal lane closures on the traffic-packed George Washington Bridge.

Christie has been embroiled in a political scandal after it was revealed that his No. 1 aide order three lanes closed on the bridge leading into New York City as political payback.

The target of the scheme was Fort Lee New Jersey’s Democratic Mayor, who refused to endorse the Republican Governor’s re-election. But ten of thousands of everyday people were caught up in a huge traffic jam at the bridge.

Christie is now under investigation and his political career has been damaged. He was considered a leading GOP contender for President in 2016.

Fallon kicked things off with an uncanny Springsteen impersonation, singing an acoustic version of the boss’s hit “Born To Run” with reworked lyrics. Springsteen, himself, dressed identically, emerged from the shadows to join him on the second verse.

It went like this:

In the day we sweat it out,
on the streets stuck in traffic,
on the G-W-B.
They shut down the toll booths of glory,
Because we didn’t endorse Christie.

Bruce’s refrain was classic. “I gotta pee!”
