He’s been charged with aggravated assault with a weapon, a felony under Florida law, as well as domestic violence battery and criminal mischief, according to the Seminole County Sheriff’s office.
Deputy Sheriffs responded to their residence after his girlfriend, identified as Samantha Scheibe, 27, called police around noon on Monday (Nov. 18). She complained that Zimmerman pointed a 12-gauge shotgun at her face, smashed a large glass table and pushed her out of the house after she told him to leave.

“He’s in my house breaking all my sh*t because I asked him to leave,” said Scheibe on the call, a copy of which was obtained by TheImproper. “You just broke my glass table, you broke my sunglasses and you put your gun in my fricking face!” she screamed at Zimmerman.

Scheibe called the matter a “verbal dispute,” according to police. She said she asked him to leave and began packing some of his personal items, which included the shotgun and a AR-15 military-style assault rifle.
Zimmerman allegedly pointed the shotgun at her “and asked her if she really wanted to do that,” after she threatened to call police, the deputy’s report stated. Scheibe said the house belonged to her.
Zimmerman allegedly pushed her out of the house and barricaded the door with furniture, but offered no resistance when deputies arrived and was taken into custody peaceably.
George Zimmerman Acquitted of Trayvon Martin Murder
In fact, Zimmerman placed his own 911 call to emergency services, according to gossip site TMZ. Zimmerman said his girlfriend was the one “going crazy” and said he was concerned because she’s pregnant with his child.
Chief Deputy Dennis Lemma said prosecutors would ask the court to put Zimmerman on “electronic monitoring” if he is released on bail.
Zimmerman was acquitted of murder in the death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in a case that tested Florida’s so-called “stand your ground” law that lets individuals use deadly force if they feel threatened.
