Robert Pattinson’s Los Feliz house is reportedly on the market for $6.75 million.
So far, TheImproper has traced the story to a snarky real estate-focused Web site, while a number of gossip sites that will print just about anything associated with the “Twilight” star have run with the story as well.
The listing, however, doesn’t turn up on any of the major real estate brokerages that normally handle upper-brackets California property. It could mean the house is being sold without being advertised, but again, that doesn’t make a lot of sense.
Pattinson bought the 1922 Spanish Colonial-style house, known originally as the Seyler Residence, in late August 2011 for a reported $6.27 million.

Now he supposedly kicked up the price by $50,000 to $6.75 million.
The asking price almost guarantees he’ll take a bath on the property after commissions, taxes and other fees are deducted from the sale price.
The house has a storied history and has long been considered one of Los Feliz’s finer properties, although by Hollywood standards, it’s fairly modest. It only boasts three bedrooms and about 4,600 square feet, according to several reports.
But it has extensive gardens, a dramatic free-form pool, 1.45-acres of lush landscaped grounds and an amphitheater. It’s also surrounded by a wall and virtually invisible from the street.
Rob was a first-time home-buyer when he purchased the property, and may have regretted not buying in a gated community. The house was regularly besieged by Twilight fans and paparazzi.
Pattinson was living with Stewart last year when he was blindsided by her affair with “Snow White and the Huntsman” director Rupert Sanders. He famously stormed out of the house in May.
So obviously the property is loaded with a lot of heartache, which is the most likely reason he’s trying to unload it now.
Stewart owns a house less than a mile away in the same neighborhood. Pattinson also counts actress Kirstie Alley and Red Hot Chili Peppers band mate Flea, a.k.a. Michael Balzary as neighbors.
The house also has a long celebrity provenance. British actor Tim Curry, best known for his role in “The Rocky Horror Picture Show,” bought in for a song, reportedly $650,000, it the 1990s when it was fairly dilapidated. His restoration was featured in Architectural Digest in 1998.
Since then, actor Noah Wylie, three-time Oscar-winning cinematographer Robert Richardson and Australian-born movie director Robert Luketic have owned the property, according to Web site Real Estalker.
Lawrence L. Witzer, president of Gettleson, Witzer & Co., a financial management company, sold the house to Pattinson. Witzer paid $5.2 million for it in 2006.
