Kim Karashian’s quickie honeymoon to Italy with Kris Humphries after their blowout $18 million wedding is shedding new light on their tenuous relationship. And, it could help sway a jury that the marriage was staged as the NBA star alleges, according to new court testimony.
As it turns out, Kim didn’t want to take a honeymoon at all, and only went after her newly wedded husband insisted on some alone time together.
But much to his surprise, when they arrived on the romantic Amalfi Coast in Italy for a short stay at the posh Hotel Santa Canterina, photographers were waiting. The photos were widely circulated turning the trip into a publicity stunt for her new show “Kourtney & Kim Take New York.
“Kris was the one to push for the honeymoon. Kim didn’t want to go on the honeymoon because they were scheduled to move to New York City to begin filming Kourtney & Kim Take New York,” a source told
“She also complained she was stressed out from planning the wedding. Kris was stunned and very hurt because it was important to him that they go away.”
“Kris was absolutely dumbfounded when a photographer appeared out of nowhere and started taking pics of them by the pool. Kim happily posed, and Kris realized her camp had arranged it,” the source said.
The trial is still in a preliminary stage. The estranged couple is going through settlement hearings before a full-blown trial gets underway. So far, neither side has budged. The couple is scheduled to meet again on Friday (Apr. 19).
That season of “Kourtney & Kim Take New York,” because infamous because Kim allegedly had a personal hand in editing the show to paint Humphries in a bad light to justify her decision to seek a divorce 72 days after their wedding.
Humphries has already produced testimony that some of the scenes were faked.
Kim is currently pregnant with baby daddy Kanye West.
