Justin Bieber appeared on ABC’s “The Voice” last night and provided the longest preview yet of his new video for “Boyfriend,” the first single off his upcoming album Believe. But one star seemed a little irritated with him.
After Justin bounded onto the stage to be greeted by Carson Daily, he got an evil-eye star from Voice judge Christina Aguilera. She’d just axed fan favorite Jesse Campbell.
As Bieber walked over to greet the judges Blake Shelton, Cee Lo Green and Adam Levine were all cordial to the Biebs.
Justin had a big shout out for Adam, and revealed they were going to do a super group until conflicting schedules doomed the effort.
But Aguilera was another matter.
A former teen star herself, first with Disney then on her own, Aguilera, 31, seemed to shy away from getting a kiss from the 18-year-old, something millions of fans would die for. Instead she held out her hand.
But the over-enthusiastic Biebs didn’t get the message and landed an air kiss on Christina. She seemed non too happy about it and stared at him coldly.
Bieber strolled out on stage and greet fans before getting a hug from Daily. You’ve got the world premiere of your new video?” Daily asked.
“I do have the world premiere of my own video… I think you guys are going to really love the video. This is just a little part I want to show you. I can’t show you the whole video.”
With that, cameras cut to the clip, which shows about 30 seconds of the video. The Album will debut on June 29. Watch it below:
