Katy Perry gives the sailor boys a thrill for a July Fourth feature in Parade magazine. She poses in a risque red sequined gown that is surprisingly revealing for the family magazine.

Katy, 27, is a firecracker the way she lights up the camera, posing as a sexy Uncle Sam in a star-spangled top hat and tails for the cover.

She looks like a pin up girl from a World War II poster in a blue corset covered in white stars and red and white striped pants.

But the pop star seemed to go overboard when she posed with three sailors in a long red dress with a plunging neckline and open side-cut top that revealed ample side boob. But no private parts were exposed.

Her new movie/documentary “Katy Perry: Part of Me” has just opened to largely positive reviews. Perry’s personality and candor are winning over the critics, according to MTV.

“Perry comes across as aggressively likable, especially when she takes off the electric blue wig and gets ‘real.’ You root for her,” writes Kara Nesvig for the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

“Audiences will come away admiring Perry’s long struggle for stardom, marveling at the stresses of a concert tour, and liking and maybe even respecting her music,” wrote Mick LaSalle of The San Francisco Chronicle.

Katy is slowly finding herself after her devastating divorce from UK comedian Russell Brand. They were married for 14 months before the marriage melt down late last year.
