Robert Pattinson’s “Twilight” character Edward Cullen rallies local clans and the wolfpack to stand up to the Volturi in yet another new clip from “Breaking Dawn, Part 2.” Kristen Stewart looks heroic as Bella.
The scene is a defining moment in the final installment of the “Twilight” franchise.
Edward and the Cullen clan have gathered their allies for a serious war council as the Volturi threatens to wipe out the Cullens because they believe Bella’s and Edward’s child, Renesmee, played by Mackenzie Foy, is a made vampire, which violates their rules.
Edward meets with members of the Denali coven, the Egyptian coven and others to enlist their help. Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner) is also there and pledges the support of his wolfpack.
The clip also shows Edward assuming family power from patriarch Carlisle Cullen (Peter Facinelli).
“Their goal isn’t punishment, it’s power, acquisition,” says Edward, explaining the Volturi’s motives. “Carlisle might not ask you to fight, but I will for the sake of my family but also for yours and the way you want to live.”
