Selena Gomez at the InStyle, Warner Bros. Golden Globes after-party.

Selena Gomez is still basking in her squeaky clean Disney image, but a couple of reports have surfaced that she was so drunk at a Golden Globes after-party she was all “wobbles and slurs.” A video captured the scene, but frankly we don’t see it.

Gomez, who spent the night partying with “Spring Breakers” pal Vanessa Hudgens, was interviewed at the InStyle and Warner Bros. after-party.

A video of the interview is the principal evidence that she’s drunk.

“Like everybody else in Hollywood, Disney Channel alum Selena Gomez was trashed after Sunday’s Golden Globes ceremony,” snark site Gawker reported.

Selena Gomez, Spring Breakers Go Glam

The headline pulled no punches:”Here Is Footage of Selena Gomez Drunk at a Golden Globes After Party”

Only the video, posted on screamslam.com and YouTube, doesn’t really provide much evidence, if any, of drunkenness.

To the contrary, the 20-year-old actress seems fairly articulate. Gomez speaks with a slight accent and she’s expressive so that may have been misconstrued.

But she answered every question coherently. What she said wasn’t all that substantive, but about what you’d expect from a 20-year-old who earned a high school diploma through, ahem, home schooling

A paparrazi site fame flynet, got the Selena drunk rumor rolling last March while she was filming “Spring Breakers” in Florida. She was photographed at a restaurant where she was having dinner with then-boyfriend Justin Bieber, co-star Ashley Benson and Ryan Good.

“Upon leaving they all seemed like they had a little too much to drink even though they aren’t old enough to drink,” the site claimed.

Seemed? That’s it? Not much in the way of evidence. In fact, no evidence at all.

These stories, however, take on a lives of their own after other sites pick up the items and parrot them verbatim without bothering to check anything out.

You might expect that from a HollywoodLife style site, but Gawker claims to practice real journalism, at least according to owner Nick Denton.
