Britney Spears swears like a sailor in her new video for the song “I Wanna Go.” In a slap at the tabloids, she tells four reporters “Fu*k You” for quizzing her about ridiculous rumors, like: Is she having Brad Pitt’s baby?
The video for “I Wanna Go” opens with Britney at the podium during a news conference.
She’s wearing platform shoes with spiked heels, a white half-shirt and Daisy Duke shorts.
“Is it true you banned junk food, smiles, sunshine, candy and laughter from your Femme Fatale Tour?” one reporter asks.
“Yes, yes it is,” Britney says.
“Is it true that you’re pregnant with Brad Pitt’s love child?” interjects another.
“That’s false, it’s quintuplets,” Britney barks back.
Then she leans forward and starts pointing an accusatory finger at four different reporters. She shouts Fu*k You four times in rapid succession before storming out.
She not only takes shots at reporters but also does in a bunch of paparrazi in a street scene.
The video is for her third single from Femme Fatale, her seventh studio album.
The lyrics are less about the prying media and more about her desire to let her “freak out.”
Lately I been stuck imagining
What I wanna do and what I really think,
time to flow out
Be a little inappropriate
‘Cause I know that everybody’s thinkin’ it
when the lights out
“Find out all the answers to your burning questions right here in the #IWannaGo video,” she tweeted with a link to the clip. “I LOVE it & hope you do too.”
Spears has already launched her Femme Fatale tour in support of the album.
While she’s not quite up to her old skills and a tad on the pudgy side, she’s still drawing big crowds and positive reviews from most critics.
