Supermodel Miranda Kerr, reportedly gave birth to her first child in Los Angeles early today (Jan. 7), a baby boy with actor Orlando Bloom.
Kerr’s parents flew in from Australia to see their daughter through the night in the hospital, according to gossip site X17.
Kerr, 27, was four months pregnant when she and Bloom married in a quiet, private ceremony last July. The had been dating for three years.
The Victoria’s Secret model, 27, joined other celebrities and stripped down for the cameras to show her pregnant figure.
The photo is nothing short of classic. It was shot by photographer Patrick Demarchelier while Kerr was in Paris.
The nude black-and-white pictorial appeared in W magazine.
Models like Heidi Klum and Alessandra Ambrosio have made miraculous recoveries from child birth.
The lost baby weight, what little they gained that is, in a matter of weeks, and returned to the runway.
Miranda, however, may not submit to the grueling workouts, so readily.
“For me, family is life,” she told the mag. “The decision to start one wasn’t complex at all … My career has been wonderful, but it’s not my life. I don’t feel pressure to get back to work.”
