Sailor Brinkley, the mini-me daughter of supermodel Christie Brinkley, is following in her mom’s footsteps and making an appearance in the Sport’s Illustrated swimsuit issue. Only one key difference–the 19-year-old bares all.
Sailor, whose dad is architect Peter Cook, is joined by another supermodel, Paulina Porizkova, a contemporary of her mom, and Robyn Lawley.
But, hey, you gotta’ love the message. It’s all about women feeling “empowered by their bodies and their minds.”
Of course!
Sports Illustrated is obviously trying to deflect any possible heat from its annual display of scantily clad models in the #MeToo and “Time’s Up” era.
The project is titled “In Her Own Words.”
The models crafted the project and the messages, which were written on their bodies. The words describe how the women view themselves.
“It’s not just that you’re nude, but it’s also ‘you’re nude and you show me the way you want me to see you,'” Porizkova explained.
See for yourself. It is kinda moving. Don’t worry, the models all deftly cover their private parts.
