Jasmine Tookes joined the elite corps of Victoria’s Secret Angels in 2015 and she’s more than earned her wings since then. Fresh off the brand’s fashion show in Shanghai, she’s sizzling in the latest lingerie, even when she’s only wearing bottoms.
Tookes has been a star almost since the day she turned pro at 15.
She’s California born and raised and was discovered in her mother’s beauty shop. Mom is a stylist and Jasmine appears to have inherited her eye for fashion.
At 5’9″, she’s runway perfect and raised eyebrows at her debut on the catwalk at the Oct. 2011 shows during New York Fashion Week.
Jasmine, now 26, even caught the eye of Oprah Winfrey, who gushed over the young model’s beauty, according to The New York Post.
She landed her first editorial campaign the same year in Vogue Italia and has appeared in dozens since.
From there, she’s never looked back.
For the 2016 Victoria’s Secret fashion show, Tookes was picked to show off the brand’s dazzling $3 million Fantasy Bra. Only four other models have had the honor.
The same year, she debuted at No. 17 on Forbes’ “The World’s Highest Paid Models” list. Her income was estimated at $4 million.
‘I was a mega-fan growing up,” she says about the brand. In fact, she says, her first bra was from Victoria’ Secret.
“I probably tried to have padding in it because when you’re young, you want to be older,” she says. “And now that I’m older, I’m all about no padding. It’s funny how things change.”
