Homer Simpson discovers he’s a Democrat after wife Marge lays down the law on presidential elections. Vote for Hillary Clinton or “I question whether I can ever be with you again,” she says. Yes, Donald Trump is that scary in a new Simpson’s video.

The Simpsons political leanings were revealed in a new video released by 20th Century Fox, which airs the cartoon comedy on the Fox Network.

The endorsement is odd because Fox News is heavily slanted in favor of the Republican nominee. But Matt Groening, the series creator, has never hesitated to tweak the nose of its host network.

In the clip, Marge tells Homer she “can’t make love until I’ve decided who to vote for” in the November election. It’s now less than 100 days away.

Just then a voice-over booms: “It’s 3am and the phone is ringing in the White House. Who do you want to answer that call?”

Trump is pictured wide awake in bed, Tweeting furiously. A book, “Great Speeches by A. Hitler,” is at his side.

When the phone rings, he bellows “Not now, I’m on Twitter.” He’s preoccupied slamming Elizabeth Warren.

Before his aide can leave, he starts shouting orders. “Put my name on the Lincoln memorial, disband NATO… and make me some scrambled eggs on gold plates.”

Things are different in the Clinton White House. Bill is the first to grab the phone, thinking momentarily, he’s the president. But he dutifully wakes Hillary and hands her the phone.

“Oh, it’s for you,” he says sheepishly.

“Yes, from now on, it’s always for me,” Hillary replies.

To Marge, the answer is obvious…. “Donald Trump?” says a befuddled Homer.

“If that’s your vote, I question whether I can ever be with you again,” she says, putting their dog between them.

“And that’s how I became a Democrat,” says Homer.
