Fallon and Clinton had a big laugh over the debate, even though Hillary said she probably wouldn’t watch it live.

“The Tonight Show” tapes early in the evening and airs at 11:30 pm in most markets. Clinton said she usually tapes debates and fast-forwards while watching with husband and former President Bill Clinton.
Jimmy said the debate would make a great drinking game. She could take a shot every time her name was mentioned. “I don’t think I’d make it past the first half hour,” she laughed.
She’s got that right. When they weren’t attacking each other, Republican candidates were doing everything they could to demonize Clinton and President Obama.

Trump clearly dominated the debate and said the least about his Democratic rival. Most of the attacks came from also-rans Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz.

Cruz had a heated exchange with Trump over the fact that he was born in Canada to American parents, which some say disqualifies him from running. Cruz tried to turn the tables by noting that Trump’s mother was a native Scot. “But I was born here,” Trump countered.

Clinton was cordial talking about Democratic rival Bernie Sanders and former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley. She had to remind Fallon that O’Malley is still in the race.
She called early polls that put her far ahead for the nomination “artificial.” Sanders has closed the gap between them more recently in early primary states, although Hillary still leads nationwide.
The Democratic candidates will debate in Charleston, SC, on Sunday (Jan. 17). NBC will air the contest at 9 pm Eastern.

On the goofy side, Clinton and Fallon took Snapchat photos and she sat for a “job interview.” It was her second appearance in four months.
