She and such celebs as Julianne Moore and French singer and actress Vanessa Paradis were decked out in Chanel designs for the event, designed especially for them.
Among other celebs were singer Rita Ora, actress Lily Collins, the daughter of UK singer Phil Collins and Lily-Rose Depp, the daughter of actor Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis.
The show was capture by Chanel in a video and post on You Tube. The stars took turns praising Lagerfeld and Chanel.
The fashion icon virtually lifted Kristen into the world of haute couture when he tapped her for Chanel’s Métiers d’Arts ad campaign two years ago.
The tip off to her growing relationship with Chanel came that summer when she was spotted in the front row of the brand’s Haute Couture fashion show. She’s been under Lagerfeld’s watchful eye ever since.
She last appeared for the brand in April for the brand’s new spring/summer 2015 eyewear campaign. Lagerfeld personally photographed the “Twilight” actress and released photos on Chanel’s Web site. Stewart embraced androgyny in the spread.
In the new video, Kristen is understandably effusive in her praise for the designer. She wears a black fitted velvet pantsuit with a collarless single-breasted top.
“Karl designed each one of these outfits specifically for us. He’s gotten to know me pretty well apparently because I feel really good in it,” she said.
