Duck Dynasty’s Phil Robertson believes “gross sexual impropriety” has led to all the nation’s evils.
Robertson caused an uproar in Dec. 2013 after a video surfaced in which he made extreme anti-gay remarks.
He was briefly suspended from his A&E show, but the network quickly relented under pressure from the show’s fans. In another speech, he blasts America for engaging in “gross sexual impropriety.”
His latest remarks came during a prayer breakfast in Vero Beach, Fla.
He tried to explain the depravity of atheists by using a hypothetical example of how the head of a family would react following a vicious home invasion. The point he was trying to make was that people who don’t believe in God, also don’t believe in right and wrong.
He tries to make his point with the following hypothetical situation.
“Two guys break into an atheist’s home. He has a little atheist wife and two little atheist daughters. Two guys break into his home and tie him up in a chair and gag him. And then they take his two daughters in front of him and rape both of them and then shoot ‘em, and they take his wife and decapitate her head off in front of him.
Robertson doesn’t stop there. He then says the intruders “take a sharp knife and take his manhoood and hold it in front of him.”
“Wouldn’t it be something if this was something wrong with this? But you’re the one who says there is no God, there’s no right, there’s no wrong, so we’re just having fun. We’re sick in the head, have a nice day.’”
Despite Robertson’s piety, he and his family members have been outed repeatedly as hypocrites.
In January a year ago, IM reported how Robertson dodged the Vietnam draft by repeatedly seeking college deferments and immediately getting married after graduating, even though his wife was underage.
Yet, today, he’s militaristic and war mongering. In September, he said ISIS militants should either be converted or killed.
Last December, family member Al Robertson and wife Lisa published a tell-all book, “A New Season: A Robertson Family Love Story of Brokenness and Redemption.” It’s rife with tales of “abortion, infidelity and embezzlement.”
