Salomon has responded to the charges with allegations of his own, claiming that Anderson is a “serial baby killer,” because she’s had multiple abortions.
The nasty turn in the couple’s divorce stems from a bedroom rendezvous in January, according to court papers obtained by gossip site TMZ.
Anderson, 47, claims Salomon placed a pillow over her face while they were having sex, then tried to strangle her. But whether murder was his motive remains to be seen.
Causing mild asphyxiation during sex has long been viewed in kinky sex circles as a way to heighten sexual organism. It even has scientific designations: “asphyxiophilia,” “autoerotic asphyxia” or “hypoxyphilia,” according to the American Psychiatric Association.
The medical definition is “intentional restriction of oxygen to the brain for the purposes of sexual arousal.”
The way it works is carbon dioxide builds up in the brain. That causes feelings of giddiness, lightheadness and pleasure. The feelings heighten sexual sensations during a “lucid, semi-hallucinogenic state” called hypoxia.
The practice, however, is potentially dangerous. If oxygen is cut off to the brain for too long it leads to unconsciousness and even death.
Whether Anderson willing agreed to be strangled for sexual pleasure and Salomon got a little to aggressive, or he tried to kill her is unknown at the moment. Salomon has not responded to the charges.
During sex and other times, he also called her degrading names like “slut” and “crack whore.” That can also be a part of kinky sex play. But Anderson said it was part of a pattern of “harassment”and “abuse” she suffered in her relationship.
She says she’s now suffering “severe emotional distress.”
Salomon, however, alleges that she’s the twisted individual. He claims she begged him and previous husband Kid Rock to have children, then got abortions when she became pregnant.
Salomon is seeking an annulment, according to TMZ.
