The event at Milk Studios in Hollywood, is held annually to raise money for HIV/AIDs awareness and research and draws a star-studded audience.
One of the highlights of the evening is an open auction that drew heated bidding. Miley made the winning bid, would you believe $300,000, on photographer Ryan McGinley’s print of a naked woman. She fended off Rihanna and guest of honor Tom Ford in a hot bidding war.
Don’t worry, Miley can afford it. She’s just coming off her highly successful Bangerz Tour and revealed that she was just named as the new face for MAC Cosmetics’ new Viva Glam line.

Afterward, Rihanna, Ford and Cyrus each gave $200,000 for AIDs research.
“I’m a little drunk. That’s why I’m a half a million deep,” Cyrus said.
“If I’m going to have a voice I would like to start an open dialogue about prevention and awareness and how people in the world have been effected by HIV and AIDS,” she added.
“Hopefully, I could break down people’s walls that have been built up around sexuality. I’m obviously not too embarrassed to talk about these things, especially with young people.”
Miley has also been outspoken as an advocated for “#FreetheNipple,” a campaign to repeal laws that forbid women from going topless in public. A new movie on the subject will screen next month.
