Teresa Giudice, a star on Bravo’s “Real Housewives of New Jersey,” is about to get a dose of real reality. She and husband Giuseppe “Joe” Giudice are scheduled to be sentenced today on conspiracy and bankruptcy fraud charges.

The couple appeared today (Oct. 2) in federal court in New Jersey to face sentencing. Joe could be deported.

They pleaded guilty in March for engaging in a Tony Soprano style fraud involving phone loan applications and bankruptcy fraud involving $5 million in mortgages and construction loans.

Specifically, the pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud and three counts of bankruptcy fraud.

Joe Giudice faces a potential sentence of 37 to 46 months in jail, under federal sentencing guidelines. Because he is not a U.S. citizen he could be deported back to Italy.

Teresa Giudice, 42, could get 21 to 27 months in prison.

But the judge has leeway to determine sentences. Because the couple pleaded guilty and avoided a costly trail, they may receive some leniency as part of the deal. The couple has four children.
