Kiefer Sutherland is back i n a new limited-run series as Jack Bauer in 24.

Kiefer Sutherland has been restored to the throne as ultimate tough guy Jack Bauer in the first trailer for the rebooted hit Fox series “24.” But this time, it’s Jack who has a price on his head.

The new 12-episode limited series “24: Live Another Day” picks up, more or less, where the 8th and final season left off.

You may recall, Bauer was trying to thwart a possible assassination during a peace conference between U.S. President Allison Taylor and President Omar Hassan of a fictional Islamic Republic.

Now Jack is back and on the run himself. He turns up in London trying to thwart yet another global disaster. But even his own government brands him a “terrorist.”

The show will still follow a real-time concept, but with lots of flashbacks and forward jumps. Mary Lynn Rajskub will return as Chloe O’Brian.
