Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, exuded warmth and charm in a figure revealing black dress that stole the show at a government reception today (Apr. 10) in New Zealand.

Kate and Prince William attended the unveiling of a portrait of Will’s grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II of England, during their four-day Royal Tour of New Zealand.

The ceremony took place at Government House in Wellington.

The Duke and Duchess are on a four-week tour of Australia and New Zealand, the first official trip overseas with their son, Prince George of Cambridge.

But today was all about Kate, who wore a body hugging Jenny Packham black dress that included hand-stitched embroidery with silver beads in the shape of New Zealand’s national emblem.
